Haruskah Update iPhone ke iOS 10.3 ?

Update terbaru iOS versi 10.3 akhirnya resmi dirilis sejak beberapa hari yang lalu. Update ini membawa banyak perbaikan maupun penambahan fitur. iOS 10.3 total menghadirkan 4 pembaruan sekaligus yaitu Find my iPhone, Apple File System, Siri dan CarPlay. Bahkan Renaud Lienhart mengatakan bahwa update terbaru ini membuat iPhone lebih kencang. Hal ini karena Apple menghilangkan beberapa animasi pada iPhone.

Selain animasi, pengguna kini juga menggunakan fitur Find my AirPods melalui aplikasi Find my iPhone. Dengan begitu, kamu akan lebih mudah mencari AirPods jika perangkat tersebut hilang atau lupa ditaruh dimana. Dalam sekejap kamu akan mendapatkan lokasi terakhir dari AirPods yang hilang.

iOS 10.3 juga akan menggunakan system file baru bernama APFS (Appe File System) yang sekaligus meggantikan HFS+ yang merupakan system file sebelumnya. Kelebihan APFS dibanding HFS+ ialah adanya enkripsi yang lebih baik.

Sekedar informasi untuk kamu yang belum update, ukuran file instalasi OS baru iPhone ini antara 600MB - 650MB. Cara update-nya pun sangat mudah, cukup masuk "setting - software update" saja. Dan semoga bug baterai boros di iOS 10.1.1 tidak terjadi di versi ini.

• Shortcuts in the status bar for easy access to last used apps
• Apple Music Now Playing screen gives access to Up Next and the currently playing song’s album
• Daily curated playlists and new music categories in Apple Music

• Rent once and watch your iTunes movies across your devices
• New Settings unified view for your Apple ID account information, settings and devices
• Hourly weather in Maps using 3D Touch on the displayed current temperature
• Support for searching “parked car" in Maps
• Calendar adds the ability to delete an unwanted invite and report it as junk
• Home app support to trigger scenes using accessories with switches and buttons
• Home app support for accessory battery level status
• Podcasts support for 3D Touch and Today widget to access recently updated shows
• Podcast shows or episodes are shareable to Messages with full playback support
• Fixes an issue that could prevent Maps from displaying your current location after resetting Location & Privacy
